Bully Ray Analyzes Cody Rhodes vs. AJ Styles Clash at the Castle Finish
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) shared his thoughts on the Cody Rhodes vs. AJ Styles match at Clash at the Castle during an episode of Busted Open Radio. Ray praised the finish, stating the fear in Styles’ eyes and Rhodes’ intent with the steel steps was enough to elicit a “quit” and garner a strong reaction from the crowd.
However, Ray expressed that Rhodes hitting Styles with the steps was unnecessary. He enjoyed the visual of Rhodes putting the steps down and the crowd singing his song, suggesting the organic crowd reaction would have been sufficient.
