Bryan Danielson reflects on memorable AEW matches and creative freedom in recent interview
Bryan Danielson has been enjoying a highly successful run in AEW over the past three years, delivering some of the company’s best matches against top-tier talent. In a recent interview, Danielson expressed his gratitude for the creative freedom and opportunities he’s had to wrestle both within AEW and in other promotions.
When asked about his favorite matches since joining AEW, Danielson couldn’t pinpoint just one. He mentioned several memorable encounters, including his first match with Kenny Omega, his hour-long draw with Hangman Page, his series with Daniel Garcia, and an Iron Man match with MJF. Danielson described these as “cool moments” he never thought he’d experience again in his career.
The wrestler also highlighted matches outside of AEW as some of his favorites. He specifically mentioned his bouts with Zack Sabre Jr. at WrestleDream and in NJPW, as well as his clash with Will Ospreay at Dynasty. Overall, Danielson emphasized that this current run has been the most fun he’s had in his wrestling career, filled with numerous standout performances.
