Bret Hart’s WWE RAW appearance in Calgary uncertain due to illness amid network changes
The upcoming season premiere of WWE RAW in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, was set to feature a special appearance by hometown hero and WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. However, recent reports suggest that Hart’s participation is now uncertain due to illness. Originally, Hart was expected to be part of a segment involving GUNTHER, but his health status has put this plan in jeopardy.
This special episode of RAW is part of a significant week for WWE, as all three of its main shows – RAW, NXT, and SmackDown – will air on the USA Network. This comes ahead of major changes, with NXT moving to the CW network next month and RAW transitioning to Netflix at the start of next year. WWE executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque had previously emphasized the importance of Hart’s appearance, describing it as a must-see event for fans.
