AEW and Lio Rush planned his surprise return for a week. Rush appeared in the Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet, with the winner facing the AEW World Champion. The main event of the post-Double or Nothing episode of Dynamite was planned by Tony Khan and others, and AEW has been pleased with the match, suggesting it may continue to be used.
