Athena’s Recent Injury Turns Out to Be Less Serious Than Initially Feared
Athena’s ankle injury, sustained during an ROH TV taping on May 16th, is not as severe as initially feared. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, she is expected to return to the ring within a few weeks. Athena has held the ROH Women’s World Championship for 533 days and is expected to defend her title at Death Before Dishonor on July 26th.
