Asuka Begins Recovery Following Successful Knee Surgery

WWE star Asuka recently underwent knee surgery, as documented in a video on her YouTube channel. The surgery, which lasted 90 minutes, was deemed successful by her doctor. Asuka was hospitalized overnight and discharged the following day, requiring assistance to walk.

The injury first became apparent to fans during a SmackDown episode in March, and despite concerns, Asuka continued to wrestle, notably losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles at Backlash France in April. She subsequently announced a hiatus to address her knee injury.

While the exact nature of the injury remains undisclosed, Asuka is now taking pain medication and has begun rehabilitation. The video concludes with her saying “See you soon,” suggesting a potential return to the ring.
