AEW’s Tony Khan Attacked on ‘Dynamite’, Wears Neck Brace at NFL Draft as Company Plans Major Events
Tony Khan, AEW’s President and CEO, recently experienced an unexpected physical altercation on “AEW Dynamite.” Unlike his WWE counterpart Vince McMahon, Khan typically prefers to stay behind the scenes. However, during the April 25 episode, he was attacked by Jack Perry and The Young Bucks, resulting in Khan wearing a neck brace at the NFL Draft the following day. Khan has since expressed his desire to avoid such incidents in the future.
Meanwhile, AEW is gearing up for some major events. “AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam” is approaching with several title matches planned. The company’s fifth anniversary show is also on the horizon, featuring a highly anticipated match between Will Ospreay and Ricochet for the International Championship. Additionally, there are talks about AEW’s future programming, with Khan confident about maintaining the company’s presence on TNT and TBS. Rumors are also circulating about a potential new show called “AEW Shockwave” possibly airing on FOX.
