TBS Champion Mercedes Mone has expressed mixed feelings about the extreme nature of some matches in AEW. While she understands that hardcore action appeals to certain fans, she worries it might turn away younger viewers, especially children. Former AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa shared her thoughts on this, acknowledging that violent matches have been crucial to her career but recognizing that not everyone enjoys such content.

Rosa pointed out that AEW is known for pushing boundaries in wrestling, but she agrees that fans have the right to feel uncomfortable with extreme violence. She revealed that some fans left the recent AEW All Out event early because their children were upset by the intense scenes. Mone had previously mentioned not wanting her younger brother to witness such violence.

Both wrestlers emphasized the need for caution when watching AEW content. Rosa stated that some of the material is not suitable for younger audiences and is intended for adults. This highlights the ongoing debate in professional wrestling about balancing exciting, intense action with content that’s appropriate for all ages.
