AEW Referee Bryce Remsburg Suffers Black Eye During All Out Championship Match
The AEW All Out event in Chicago was marked by intense and violent matches, featuring bloodshed and potentially career-altering moments. However, the action wasn’t limited to just the wrestlers. Referee Bryce Remsburg shared on social media that he received a black eye during the AEW World Championship match between Bryan Danielson and Jack Perry. The injury occurred when Danielson accidentally hit Remsburg with a knee strike move.
The incident briefly affected the match, allowing The Young Bucks to attack Danielson while the referee was down. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta intervened to help. Despite this setback, both Danielson and Remsburg recovered, with Danielson ultimately retaining his title. Remsburg is expected to continue officiating upcoming AEW shows, but the black eye did lead to a humorous situation where he wore sunglasses to his son’s birthday party to avoid questions about his injury.
