AEW President Tony Khan confirms Sting’s retirement, clarifies surprise appearance at All In event

Legendary wrestler Sting made a surprise appearance at AEW’s All In event, coming to the aid of his friend Darby Allin during a dramatic match. This unexpected return sparked speculation about Sting’s retirement status, which he had announced in March at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view.

AEW President Tony Khan has now clarified the situation, confirming that Sting is indeed retired from in-ring competition. Khan emphasized that Sting’s last match at Revolution was his final bout, where he retired undefeated as a world champion in AEW. Despite no longer wrestling, Sting remains an integral part of the AEW family, maintaining close relationships with both Darby Allin and Khan himself.

While Sting won’t be competing anymore, he continues to contribute positively to AEW.
