AEW is reportedly in talks with former WWE stars Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin, who were previously part of the dominant faction “The Hurt Business.” While no deals have been finalized, discussions are ongoing. Interestingly, a trademark for “The Hurt Syndicate” has been filed, along with other MVP-related trademarks, hinting at potential future plans.

MVP has recently stated that he’s not finished with wrestling and has been in touch with his former Hurt Business teammates. He even made an appearance at GCW Bloodsport, challenging Josh Barnett. Meanwhile, Lashley hasn’t wrestled since May, but Benjamin has been active in independent promotions both in the US and UK since his release from WWE in September. Benjamin’s release came after the merger of WWE and UFC into TKO Group Holdings, similar to the situation of TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth.
