AEW Champion Bryan Danielson reflects on rivalry with late Bray Wyatt, praises him as “wonderful human being”
Bryan Danielson, the current AEW World Champion, recently reflected on his memorable rivalry with the late Bray Wyatt. In an interview, Danielson spoke fondly of their time together, both in and out of the ring. He described Wyatt as a “wonderful human being” and mentioned that some of his favorite matches in WWE were live event matches with Wyatt. Their last televised match was a highly-acclaimed Strap match at the 2020 Royal Rumble, which took place before Wyatt’s untimely passing in 2023.
When asked about the new Wyatt Sicks faction on WWE Raw, led by Wyatt’s brother Bo Dallas and featuring former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan, Danielson admitted he hasn’t seen it. He explained that his busy schedule and family responsibilities leave him with limited time to keep up with current wrestling storylines outside of his own commitments.
