AEW CEO Tony Khan Provides Update on Will Hobbs’ Recovery from Knee Injury
Former TNT Champion Powerhouse Will Hobbs has been sidelined since April due to a knee injury suffered during a match against Jon Moxley. Tony Khan, AEW’s CEO, recently provided an update on Hobbs’ recovery. While there’s no exact return date set, Khan expressed optimism about Hobbs’ progress, stating that he’s been making regular visits to doctors and attending AEW shows for check-ups.
Khan emphasized Hobbs’ importance to AEW, describing him as a “huge part” of the company and “one of the most popular stars.” Although Hobbs has been spotted backstage at recent events, including this week’s “AEW Dynamite,” it seems fans may need to be patient regarding his in-ring return. Khan indicated that Hobbs still has some rehabilitation ahead of him before he can make his comeback to active competition.
