WWE 2K24 Misspells Sami Zayn’s Name in Promotional Post, Wrestler Responds with Humor
WWE 2K24 recently added a new “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner Persona Card to its MyFaction mode. To unlock this card, players must use Sami Zayn’s character to defeat GUNTHER in a Boss Battle Live Event. However, the promotional material for this update led to an awkward situation when WWE Games misspelled Zayn’s name as “Sami Zane” in a social media post.
Zayn humorously responded to the error by joking about playing as “Cody Roads” and “Roman Rains,” referencing other WWE stars. Although WWE Games acknowledged Zayn’s wit, they didn’t immediately remove the original misspelled post. This incident occurred alongside Zayn’s ongoing storyline with GUNTHER, where he has been calling out the champion for declining his requests for a World Heavyweight Championship match.
