AEW wrestlers show promising recovery signs, but many top stars still sidelined until 2025
Several AEW wrestlers are making progress in their recovery from injuries. Adam Cole, who broke his ankle nearly a year ago, was seen backstage at recent events walking without difficulty. However, there’s no set date for his return to the ring. Similarly, Julia Hart, a former champion who had shoulder surgery in April, made a backstage appearance, boosting morale among her colleagues.
Other injured stars are also showing signs of improvement. Powerhouse Hobbs, who had been sidelined with a knee injury, was recently spotted backstage. Meanwhile, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi were seen training together in Japan, as both have been absent from AEW due to health issues – Ibushi with injuries and Omega with diverticulitis. Despite these positive developments, many top AEW stars, including Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston, and Keith Lee, are still recovering and may not return until 2025.
