WWE Bad Blood Returns: Bully Ray Weighs In on Main Event Debate Between Hell in a Cell and Tag Team Match
WWE’s Bad Blood event is set to return on October 5 after a 20-year hiatus. The card features two highly anticipated matches: a Hell in a Cell bout between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, and a tag team match with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns teaming up for the first time.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray shared his opinion on which match should headline the event. Despite the tag match featuring the undisputed champion and the company’s top storyline, Bully believes the Hell in a Cell match between Punk and McIntyre should close the show. He cites the intense stipulation and the animosity between the two wrestlers as reasons for giving it the main event spot.
However, Bully also acknowledges that the tag team match could potentially close the show, especially given the long-running importance of The Bloodline storyline in WWE. If this match does end up as the main event, Bully predicts something significant will occur, such as tension between Rhodes and Reigns, the debut of a new wrestler, or the return of a familiar face.
