Bryan Danielson Reveals Neck Issues Plagued Both WWE and AEW Championship Wins
Bryan Danielson recently achieved a significant milestone by winning world championships in both AEW and WWE. In a recent interview, he compared his experiences of winning these titles, noting an unexpected similarity: neck problems. Danielson revealed that he was facing neck issues before his WWE Championship win at WrestleMania 30 in 2014, and is currently experiencing similar problems as the AEW World Champion.
Danielson shared a striking anecdote about his physical condition during his WWE Championship reign. The day before a title defense, he was so weak he couldn’t even turn his car key. Despite this, he performed a risky diving headbutt off a forklift the next day, which he now admits was unwise. Currently, as AEW World Champion, Danielson acknowledges that he will need neck surgery soon. Despite these challenges, he expressed joy and gratitude for his recent win at Wembley Stadium, particularly appreciating that his wife could join him in the ring, unlike at WrestleMania.
