WWE Raw Returns to Two-Hour Format, Matt Hardy Approves Change

WWE Raw is returning to a two-hour format after over a decade of three-hour broadcasts. Former WWE star Matt Hardy has shared his thoughts on this change, expressing that the three-hour format was often considered too long to maintain audience interest. Hardy noted that while the extended runtime was financially beneficial for the company, it was challenging to consistently produce engaging content for the full duration.

Hardy personally prefers the two-hour format, believing it provides a better viewing experience for fans. However, he acknowledged that recent improvements in storytelling and character development have made the three-hour show more watchable in the past year. Reflecting on his own experiences, Hardy mentioned that performing in the third hour of Raw was more challenging for wrestlers. He also compared this to his time in TNA Wrestling, where tapings could last up to four hours.
