The show featured several notable events, including a world title steel cage match, appearances by Triple H and Roman Reigns, and the surprising introduction of Ricky Gibson, a local wrestler initially set to team up with Kevin Owens.

The situation took an unexpected turn when Randy Orton showed up to partner with Owens instead. This led to Owens delivering his signature Stunner move to Gibson before starting the match against A-Town Down Under. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray later commented on the significance of this moment, highlighting how WWE’s platform can quickly introduce and popularize new faces in wrestling. He emphasized that within just 90 seconds, viewers went from not knowing Gibson to being familiar with him, demonstrating the promotional power of WWE television.
