WWE Survivor Series to Feature WarGames for Third Year, Bloodline Conflict Expected in 2024 Match
WWE Survivor Series is set to feature WarGames for the third consecutive year on November 30 in Vancouver, Canada. This double-ringed steel cage match, originally an NXT-exclusive event, has become a main roster staple since Triple H took over WWE’s creative direction in 2022. The 2022 and 2023 WarGames matches featured high-profile confrontations, with The Bloodline emerging victorious in 2022 and a team led by Cody Rhodes winning in 2023.
For the upcoming 2024 WarGames match, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer predicts it will be an “all Bloodline affair.” The landscape of The Bloodline has changed significantly since 2023, with Solo Sikoa now backed by Tonga Loa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu, while Roman Reigns has aligned with Cody Rhodes and received support from The Rock. This evolving storyline is expected to set the stage for an intense WarGames showdown, with tensions building through upcoming events like the Bad Blood pay-per-view on October 5.
