WWE Prioritizes Wrestler Health: Natalya Praises Triple H’s Supportive Approach
Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya has highlighted a significant shift in WWE’s approach to mental and physical health. Unlike the 1980s and 90s when many performers turned to drugs and alcohol, WWE now provides extensive resources for wrestlers’ wellbeing under the leadership of Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
Natalya shared her personal experience, praising the company’s support during her recent eye surgery for astigmatism. She described how Triple H encouraged her to prioritize her health, telling her to “Go get your eyes fixed” without worry. This supportive attitude extends to various situations, including allowing time off for personal matters, demonstrating a marked improvement in the company’s culture.
In addition to her positive remarks about WWE’s evolving approach to health, Natalya has recently signed a multi-year contract extension with the company. She made her return to WWE programming last week, appearing as a surprise tag team partner on “WWE Raw” alongside Lyra Valkyria and Zelina Vega.
