HOOK to Defend FTW Championship Against Roderick Strong at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam
HOOK, the three-time FTW Champion, is set to defend his title against Roderick Strong at the upcoming “AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam” event. This match was officially announced during a recent episode of “Collision,” following HOOK’s challenge to Strong via a video package on “AEW Dynamite.” The championship bout is expected to follow FTW Rules, though specific details are yet to be confirmed.
The “Grand Slam” event, scheduled for September 25 at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, will feature both a live “AEW Dynamite” broadcast and a taping of “Collision.” While HOOK vs. Strong is currently the only singles championship match on the card, other notable matches have been announced. These include a contest between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley for a shot at the AEW World Championship, a potential face-off between Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness, and the Young Bucks defending their AEW World Tag Team Championship against Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher.
