MVP, a former WWE United States Champion, recently expressed concern about his friend and former teammate Kenny King’s current status in the wrestling industry. In an interview, MVP stated that King, whom he considers a close friend, should be employed by a wrestling company, calling it a “travesty” that he isn’t currently working in the field.

Kenny King, a veteran wrestler with over 20 years of experience, has had a diverse career both in and out of the ring. He’s been part of notable wrestling factions like the Beatdown Clan in TNA Wrestling alongside MVP, and has held championships in Ring of Honor (ROH). Outside of wrestling, King has also appeared on reality TV shows such as “The Bachelorette” and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as a Chippendale’s dancer.

King’s wrestling journey began in 2002 when he competed on an early season of “WWE Tough Enough.” He then worked his way through the independent circuit before joining ROH and TNA Wrestling. His most recent stint with TNA (now Impact Wrestling) ended in November of the previous year when his contract expired. King has described his early experiences in the wrestling business, particularly during “Tough Enough,” as challenging, noting that the industry was very different at that time.
