WWE Raw to Undergo Major Changes: Two-Hour Format on USA, Three-Hour Show with Ads on Netflix in 2025
WWE Raw is set for significant changes in late 2024. The show will remain on USA Network through December, bridging the gap until its Netflix debut in January 2025. Starting October 7, Raw will shift to a two-hour format, reverting to three hours when it moves to Netflix.
Despite being on a streaming platform, Raw will still feature commercials on Netflix. This decision aligns with Netflix’s strategy to incorporate more ads into its content. However, the streaming giant plans to offer greater flexibility in ad placement and duration. Some commercials may be very brief to minimize interruptions, while others might be similar to traditional TV ads. This approach, coupled with variable runtimes for the show, aims to make main events more unpredictable and maintain viewer engagement.
