Baron Corbin’s Career Rejuvenated Through Tag Team Success in WWE NXT and Smackdown

Baron Corbin, once known as “The Lone Wolf,” has found new success in tag team wrestling. He recently formed a team with Bron Breakker in WWE NXT, and is currently partnering with Apollo Crews on Smackdown. Corbin and Crews have been friends for nearly 12 years, having faced each other in NXT matches in London.

Despite WWE’s historically weak emphasis on tag team divisions, Corbin feels that tag team wrestling has revitalized his career. He appreciates having a partner to lean on and share experiences with. His partnership with Breakker was particularly successful, leading to them winning the NXT Tag Team Championships. This marked only the second time Corbin has held a title in WWE, and his first championship since 2017, which he found particularly impactful.
