WWE Raw to return to two-hour format on Netflix as Drew McIntyre eyes Hollywood future

Drew McIntyre, a prominent WWE star, recently discussed his pitch for WWE Raw’s debut on Netflix. He proposed using strong language in the opening segment, but executives were not receptive. McIntyre clarified that while the move to Netflix might allow for more creative freedom, excessive profanity would diminish its impact over time. He emphasized the importance of carefully selecting moments for such language to maintain its effectiveness throughout the show.

In a significant development, WWE has announced that Raw will temporarily return to a two-hour format when it moves to Netflix. This change comes as McIntyre continues to pursue the World Heavyweight Championship and intensify his rivalry with CM Punk. Additionally, McIntyre’s experience working with Dave Bautista on the upcoming film “The Killer’s Game” has inspired him to consider a future career in Hollywood once he has accomplished his goals in wrestling. The movie is set to premiere on Friday, September 13.
