WWE NXT Announces Star-Studded Lineup for CW Network Debut, Featuring The Miz and CM Punk
WWE NXT is set to make its debut on the CW network on October 1, and the company is planning a star-studded event to mark the occasion. The Miz, a former WWE Champion, will host a special edition of his talk show “Miz TV” during the debut show. Another former WWE Champion, CM Punk, is also confirmed to appear and will have a significant role in the event. Punk is scheduled to make an announcement about the October 1 show during next week’s NXT episode.
The debut show will take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago and will feature several main roster stars. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are advertised to appear. Three matches have been confirmed for the event: Roxanne Perez will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against newcomer Giulia, Ethan Page will put his NXT Championship on the line against Trick Williams, and Wes Lee will face Zachary Wentz in a street fight to settle their ongoing feud.
