Former Hurt Business members hint at potential reunion outside WWE as speculation grows
The popular WWE faction “The Hurt Business,” consisting of Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, and MVP, has disbanded with only Alexander remaining in WWE. MVP recently hinted at potential future plans for himself, Lashley, and Benjamin, stating that while The Hurt Business is “dead” in WWE, the trio is discussing their next moves. Lashley and MVP’s contracts with WWE expired in August, while Benjamin was released in September 2023 following the WWE-UFC merger.
Speculation surrounds the group’s future, with possibilities including a move to AEW or TNA Wrestling. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T suggested TNA might be a better fit for the group. Meanwhile, MVP has made appearances in other wrestling promotions, such as GCW’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, indicating that the former Hurt Business members are exploring various options in the wrestling world.
