AEW Collision viewership plummets to all-time low amid strong competition from WWE and NFL

The recent episode of AEW Collision experienced a significant drop in viewership, attracting only 157,000 viewers. This marks the lowest viewership for the show since its debut in June 2023, representing a 46% decrease from the previous week’s 289,000 viewers. The key 18-49 demographic also saw a steep decline, earning a 0.04 rating, down 60% from the previous week’s 0.10.

The sharp decline in viewership can be attributed to strong competition from other programs airing at the same time. WWE SmackDown on FOX drew 1,770,000 viewers, more than ten times Collision’s audience. Additionally, an NFL game between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles, broadcast live from Brazil on Peacock, attracted 14 million viewers. Despite the challenges, Collision still managed to rank 22nd among primetime cable shows for the evening, while AEW Rampage performed better, ranking 7th with 233,000 viewers and a 0.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
