Bully Ray criticizes AEW All Out’s TBS Championship match, questions booking decisions
The recent AEW All Out event has drawn criticism, particularly regarding the TBS Championship match between Mercedes Mone and Hikaru Shida. Bully Ray, speaking on “Busted Open Radio,” expressed his belief that this match was arranged for the wrong reasons. He suggested it was an attempt to make up for a poorly received match between Mone and Britt Baker at a previous event, All In.
Bully Ray also took issue with specific aspects of the Mone-Shida match, including the decision to remove Mone’s bodyguard, Kamille, from ringside. He felt this move lacked proper build-up and justification within the storyline. Additionally, he criticized the commentary team’s repeated emphasis on Mone not needing Kamille’s assistance. Bully Ray argued that this approach undermined the heel champion’s character and questioned the overall effectiveness of the booking decisions made for this match.
