Drew McIntyre, a WWE star, has spoken highly of his former 3MB teammate Jinder Mahal’s success after being released from WWE. McIntyre, who himself was released in 2014 after an eight-year run with the company, praised Mahal’s ability to stand out and win championships in his post-WWE career. Mahal was released from WWE in April 2023 as part of talent cuts following WrestleMania.

Reflecting on his own experience, McIntyre shared that leaving WWE was necessary for his personal growth as a performer. He explained that during his initial run with the company, he struggled to find his voice and be present in the moment, often focusing too much on reciting scripted lines. McIntyre credits his time away from WWE for helping him develop his in-ring skills and microphone presence.

Upon his return to WWE in 2017, McIntyre felt he had finally become the performer he had always aspired to be. He also acknowledged his wife’s role in his personal development. This journey of self-discovery and improvement outside the WWE allowed McIntyre to come back stronger and more confident in his abilities.
