Former NXT UK Tag Champs Debut at AEW All In, Attack Young Bucks and Challenge FTR
The Grizzled Young Veterans, former WWE NXT UK Tag Team Champions, have made their debut in AEW at the All In event in Wembley Stadium. They immediately made their presence known by attacking The Young Bucks after a three-way tag team title match involving FTR and The Acclaimed. The duo, consisting of Zack Gibson and James Drake, are looking to establish themselves as a dominant force in AEW’s tag team division.
In a backstage interview, Gibson and Drake expressed frustration at being constantly compared to FTR, another well-known tag team. They emphasized their 18 years of experience in the wrestling industry and declared their intention to prove themselves as the superior team. The Grizzled Young Veterans aim to change the narrative, with Drake boldly stating that after facing them, people will start comparing FTR to them instead.
