A new documentary series about Vince McMahon, former WWE Chairman, is set to premiere on Netflix on September 25. The six-episode series provides a comprehensive look at McMahon’s life and career, starting from his childhood and early involvement in wrestling to his purchase of WWF (now WWE) from his father. It also covers significant moments in WWE history, including the rise of “Hulkamania,” the creation of WrestleMania, and the company’s peak during WrestleMania III.

While the documentary touches on recent controversies surrounding McMahon, including allegations of sexual misconduct and non-disclosure agreements with former employees, these topics are not extensively explored until the final episode. The series primarily focuses on presenting a linear history of McMahon’s career and the evolution of WWE, including its decline in the early 1990s following Hulk Hogan’s departure. Most interviews featured in the documentary were conducted before the more recent events and allegations came to light.
