In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Priest revealed that The Undertaker was his main idol, citing the wrestler’s aura and presentation as key factors that influenced him. Priest expressed a desire to evoke similar emotional responses from fans, comparing it to being a comic book superhero or villain.
The WWE star also mentioned other influential figures in his wrestling journey. He credited Razor Ramon, whose signature move ‘Razor’s Edge’ Priest now uses in his performances. Sting’s ‘The Crow’ persona left a lasting impression on him, and he enjoyed watching cruiserweights like Rey Mysterio in WCW. Priest’s favorites during the Attitude Era included Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, while he was also a fan of Bret Hart before becoming captivated by the nWo stable.
