Booker T compares rising NXT star Oba Femi to Goldberg, highlighting early career advantages

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has shared his thoughts on rising star Oba Femi, comparing him to wrestling legend Goldberg. Femi, the current NXT North American Champion, has made a significant impact in just two years, winning the NXT Breakout Tournament and holding the title for nearly 250 days.

Booker T sees similarities between Femi and Goldberg, describing both as impressive, seemingly unbeatable big men. However, he notes that Femi is getting more in-ring experience early in his career compared to Goldberg. Booker T believes this additional ring time is allowing Femi to learn the intricacies of the wrestling business from the start.

The wrestling veteran also reflected on his own experiences working with Goldberg in WCW, highlighting their strong friendship. Booker T mentioned that he wouldn’t have allowed anyone but himself to defeat Goldberg during their time together, and that their friendship continues to this day.
