WWE Hall of Famer Jacqueline Moore Signs Historic Legends Contract as First African-American Woman

Jacqueline Moore, a two-time WWE Women’s Champion, has made history once again by becoming the first African-American woman to sign a Legends contract with WWE. This contract allows former wrestlers to earn money from merchandise sales and appearances in television shows and video games. The news was announced by Moore’s friend, Hope Cousin, through Double Take Sports. This achievement follows Moore’s groundbreaking induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016, where she was the first African-American woman to receive that honor.

Moore’s wrestling career spans over three decades, starting in 1988 with World Class Championship Wrestling. She has competed in various promotions including WCW, WWE, and TNA, making significant contributions to women’s and intergender wrestling. Throughout her career, Moore not only won the Women’s Championship but also became one of only three women to hold the Cruiserweight Championship. Since her Hall of Fame induction, Moore has made occasional appearances in WWE events, including the 25th anniversary of Raw and the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble. Most recently, she was featured in the Legends Suite at this year’s SummerSlam alongside other wrestling icons.
