Daniel Garcia’s AEW contract expiring soon, future uncertain amid WWE interest
Daniel Garcia’s future in AEW remains uncertain as his contract nears expiration this fall. When asked about his plans to re-sign, Garcia declined to comment. His status has been in question since July when he was written off AEW programming after a match against Will Ospreay. Garcia later made a surprise appearance during MJF’s match at All In, adding to the intrigue surrounding his contract situation.
While Garcia has expressed a desire to be seen as a valuable asset in AEW, reports suggest that WWE has also offered him a deal. Despite speculation that he may remain with AEW, the outcome of his match against MJF at All Out could provide insight into his future. Garcia has previously appeared in WWE matches, including bouts on 205 Live and NXT. Although he’s only held one championship in ROH and none in AEW, Garcia remains a popular figure in the promotion.
