Undertaker reveals why Brothers of Destruction tag team with Kane was short-lived despite popularity

The Undertaker recently discussed the formation and short-lived run of his legendary tag team with Kane, known as The Brothers of Destruction. He explained that after their intense rivalry, including matches at WrestleMania and the Inferno match, teaming up seemed like a natural progression. The pairing was incredibly popular and powerful, with The Undertaker describing it as “awesome but too awesome.”

However, the same factors that made The Brothers of Destruction so formidable also led to their limited run as a team. The Undertaker pointed out that their combined supernatural personas – one wielding lightning and the other fire – made it nearly impossible for WWE to book credible opponents against them. This booking challenge ultimately restricted their longevity as a tag team. Despite their brief initial run from 2000 to 2001, the duo reunited occasionally over the years, with their final match taking place at Crown Jewel in 2018.
