The 2018 Crown Jewel event featured a controversial tag team match between The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane) and D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels). The match, which took place in Saudi Arabia, has been widely criticized and even The Undertaker himself has acknowledged its poor quality. According to The Undertaker, there was little preparation for the match, with the feud being set up after a Chokeslam incident in Australia and the wrestlers convincing Shawn Michaels to come out of retirement for the event.

The Undertaker described the match as a “complete disaster and train wreck” that started badly and continued to deteriorate. He admitted that all four participants were upset with the outcome and suffered setbacks during the match. The WWE Hall of Famer attributed the poor quality of the performance to the fact that none of the wrestlers had been competing regularly for a long time, which affected their in-ring abilities and overall match quality.
