Former TNA World Champion Rich Swann Found Guilty of Public Intoxication, Receives Probation

Rich Swann, a former TNA World Champion, has been found guilty of public intoxication and causing a disturbance. The incident occurred on June 8 in Altamonte Springs, Florida, when an intoxicated Swann attempted to enter an apartment near his home. He was confronted by residents, including one who warned him off with a gun. Swann has been sentenced to six months probation and must pay $500 in fines and legal fees.

This marks Swann’s second offense in the same apartment complex, with the first occurring in September 2022. Following his arrest, Swann voluntarily entered substance abuse rehabilitation and recently celebrated 60 days of sobriety. TNA Wrestling, Swann’s employer, became aware of the incident two months after it occurred and has stated that Swann is responsible for his own actions. His last match with TNA was on August 3, and he is currently suspended. The company has not yet provided an update on Swann’s future with TNA.
