A new Netflix docuseries about Vince McMahon is set to release in September, exploring his career and recent scandals. The six-episode series, titled “Mr. McMahon,” has generated significant interest due to McMahon’s resignation from WWE, a lawsuit filed against him, and an ongoing federal investigation.

However, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone has expressed his refusal to watch the series. His decision is not related to McMahon, but rather to one of the executive producers, Bill Simmons. Schiavone revealed on his podcast that he holds a grudge against Simmons dating back to the Monday Night War era in wrestling. He stated that Simmons was highly critical of him during his time in WCW and said “terrible things” about him.

Schiavone’s animosity towards Simmons is so strong that he claims he would not have watched any of the “30 for 30” series had he known Simmons was one of its founders. The commentator used strong language to express his dislike for Simmons and anything associated with him.
