WWE Raw ratings drop on Labor Day, hitting summer low in key demographic

WWE Raw’s viewership took a hit this week, likely due to the Labor Day holiday. The show drew 1.652 million total viewers and scored a 0.49 rating in the 18-49 demographic. These numbers represent a decline from the previous week, with total viewership down 8% and the key demographic falling 13%. The 18-49 rating was particularly concerning, marking the lowest for WWE this summer and the worst since June 10.

Despite the dip in ratings, Raw still performed well compared to its year-over-year averages for Q3 and August 2023. This puts the show in a relatively strong position as it heads into competition with Monday Night Football next week. In terms of content, the main highlight was the ongoing feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, which intensified when McIntyre attacked Punk during his celebration and destroyed his bracelet, a significant symbol in their rivalry.
