WWE SmackDown and AEW Collision set for head-to-head showdown on September 6

WWE and AEW are set to compete head-to-head once again on Friday, September 6, with “WWE SmackDown” and “AEW Collision” airing simultaneously at 8 pm ET. This scheduling is due to AEW’s annual pay-per-view event, All Out, taking place on Saturday, September 7, in Chicago. “SmackDown” will broadcast live from Edmonton, Canada, following up on the Bash in Berlin event, while “Collision” will be part of a 3.5-hour lineup promoting All Out from Chicago’s NOW Arena. The AEW programming will continue with “Rampage” at 10 pm ET and “Countdown to All Out” at 11 pm ET.

WWE has announced some details for next week’s “SmackDown,” including Giovanni Vinci’s return to in-ring action after a five-month absence. An eight-man tag team match featuring The Bloodline against DIY and The Street Profits is also scheduled. This will be the final “SmackDown” on FOX before moving to the USA Network on September 13. Meanwhile, AEW has announced five matches for All Out, with the main event featuring Bryan Danielson defending his newly-won AEW World Championship against TNT Champion Jack Perry.
