WWE Performance Center Move Rumors Debunked, Expansion in Las Vegas Possible

Reports of a potential move of WWE’s Performance Center from Orlando to Las Vegas caused a stir this week. The rumors began after Endeavor executive Mark Shapiro discussed Las Vegas as a beneficial location for WWE. However, WWE sources quickly denied these claims, clarifying that Shapiro only mentioned the possibility of a Vegas move, with no current plans for relocation.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the initial reports caused panic among those in Orlando. While there may be discussions about developing a project in Las Vegas, it doesn’t necessarily mean moving the entire Performance Center. Instead, it could involve expanding WWE’s presence in the city, which already hosts major sports and entertainment events. Meltzer suggests that having two developmental bases – one in Orlando and one in Las Vegas – might be a future consideration, but nothing is imminent.

WWE’s connection to Las Vegas will strengthen in the near future, as the city is set to host WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium on April 19 and 20 next year. This event will bring significant WWE presence to the area, potentially paving the way for future developments.
