Jon Moxley’s cryptic AEW return sparks Shane McMahon rumors and ownership speculation
Jon Moxley made a return to AEW Dynamite, delivering a cryptic promo that left many viewers confused. Bully Ray, co-host of “Busted Open Radio,” speculated that Moxley’s words might be connected to Shane McMahon, a former WWE star. This speculation stems from a recent private meeting between Tony Khan and Shane McMahon, which sparked brief discussions in the wrestling community.
Ray pointed out that Moxley’s statement to Tony Schiavone, “This is not your company anymore,” could be interpreted as a reference to potential changes in AEW’s management or ownership. He also noted the sudden reappearance of Marina Shafir on Dynamite, where she assisted Moxley in a backstage altercation. Shafir’s presence was unexpected, as she hadn’t been seen on AEW programming since late December, with most of her recent matches taking place in Ring of Honor.
