The wrestling community is mourning the loss of Sid Eudy, known by various ring names including Sycho Sid and Sid Vicious, who passed away at 63. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross paid tribute to the former WWE Champion, describing him as a unique character who rose from humble beginnings in West Memphis, Arkansas, to perform at Madison Square Garden. Ross praised Sid’s natural instincts in promos and his perfect physique for wrestling, whether as a villain or hero.

Ross also revealed that Sid was often the target of pranks by colleagues, which he deemed inappropriate given Sid’s value to the business. He remembered Sid as a family-focused individual who kept a low profile after retirement. Fellow Hall of Famer Booker T shared that Sid played a crucial role in introducing him and his brother Stevie Ray to professional wrestling. Booker mentioned that he had the opportunity to visit Sid before his passing, highlighting the impact Sid had on other wrestlers’ careers.
