Dave Bautista, the six-time World Champion, has confirmed his retirement from professional wrestling. He ended his career at WrestleMania 35 in 2019 with a match against Triple H. Bautista expressed satisfaction with his retirement, describing it as a dream come true and a perfect ending to his wrestling career.

While Bautista admits to missing the energy of the crowd and the thrill of hearing his entrance music, he remains committed to preserving his “storybook ending.” He believes that returning to the ring would tarnish the perfect way he chose to end his career, something many wrestlers don’t get the opportunity to do. Bautista acknowledges that his time in wrestling has passed and he’s come to terms with this reality.

Despite his retirement, Bautista still hopes to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He revealed that Triple H personally invited him to be inducted during WrestleMania 39 weekend in Los Angeles. However, due to scheduling conflicts with a movie shoot in South Africa, Bautista was unable to accept the invitation at that time.
