AEW’s Chris Jericho Dismisses Retirement Talks, Emphasizes Ongoing Value to Company
Chris Jericho, a veteran wrestler in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), has firmly stated that he has no plans to retire despite calls from some fans. In a recent interview, Jericho emphasized that he’s still in excellent physical condition, capable of performing all his signature moves, and brings more to the company than just in-ring performances. He pointed out that he can contribute to storyline writing and enjoys working with AEW, its leadership, and his fellow performers.
Jericho’s stance on retirement is consistent with his previous statements. He believes he can still deliver top-quality matches and is having fun in his current role. Looking ahead, Jericho expressed interest in staying involved in the wrestling business even after he stops competing, possibly in backstage or commentary roles. Additionally, he mentioned plans to focus on his acting career and his band, Fozzy, in the future.
