Beth Phoenix, a successful WWE wrestler, faced a major setback early in her career. Just one month after her main roster debut in 2006, she broke her jaw during a match with Victoria. This injury left Phoenix worried that her wrestling career might be over before it truly began.

In the hospital, Phoenix felt devastated, believing she had sacrificed everything for wrestling only to have it potentially taken away. She had been working alongside big names like Trish Stratus and Mickie James when the injury occurred.

However, support came from unexpected places. Stephanie McMahon called to give Phoenix an encouraging pep talk, while Howard Finkel also reached out to check on her well-being. Even Victoria, her opponent during the injury, expressed concern, though Phoenix didn’t blame her for what happened.

Despite this early setback, Phoenix went on to have a remarkable career. She won the WWE Divas Championship three times and the Women’s Championship once. In 2017, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, solidifying her legacy in professional wrestling.

Phoenix’s impact extended beyond her personal achievements. She became an inspiration for future wrestlers like Rhea Ripley, who admired how Phoenix broke stereotypes and proved that women wrestlers could be just as tough as their male counterparts.
