WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match Set for Bash in Berlin
WWE has announced a new match for the upcoming Bash in Berlin event on August 31. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre will defend their titles against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.
This announcement was made by SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis in a social media video. Aldis also previewed the upcoming SmackDown episode, which will feature Cody Rhodes on “The Grayson Waller Effect” and a six-woman tag team match.
Dawn and Fyre became champions in June at WWE Clash at the Castle, defeating Cargill and Belair. Since then, they’ve successfully defended their titles three times:
1. Against Damage CTRL and Pure Fusion Collective in a triple threat match on Raw
2. Against Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend on NXT
3. A disqualification win over Cargill and Belair on SmackDown due to interference
The Bash in Berlin event now has five confirmed matches, with this title defense adding to the card.
